NSW teams have fallen just short of the Final of the National U16 Championships, which will see Queensland will win its first Rod Macqueen Shield.
Since ARU introduced the titles in 2001, no Queensland side has lifted the Division One trophy.
The drought, however, will end when Queensland Red plays Queensland White in the decider on Friday morning at Nudgee College in Brisbane.
Queensland Red was the first team through to the final after downing Sydney Juniors 21-13, scoring three tries to one.
Queensland White then completed the double triumph for the Sunshine State with a 22-12 win over the top seeded NSW Schools.
NSW Country, after a narrow four-point loss to NSW Schools on day one of the tournament, convincingly won their second match, racing in six tries to three to beat Victoria 36-17.
In the other Division One game, Brumbies edged out Western Australia 6-3 in a tryless affair. Brumbies kicked two penalty goals to one.
South Australia and the National Indigenous team remained undefeated after two games in the Division Two competition.
The South Australians scored six tries in defeating Tasmania 36-12 while the National Indigenous side collected five tries in a 31-7 victory over Northern Territory.
