Tah’d for Life Campaign Hits TV Screen
NSW Rugby has joined forces with the Premier Media group (Fox Sports) to produce the Waratahs first action Super Rugby commercial.
“There’s action, a great soundtrack and a story to the Tah’d for Life campaign,” said Kym Aust-Howlett, NSWRU General Manager of Marketing and Operations.
The TVC shows a number of Waratah supporters with completely blue skin i.e. “They have been Tah’d.”
The story begins with blue supporters in everyday life, at a bus stop and jogging in a park.
Eventually the blue supporters make their way to the Sydney Football Stadium and those not blue to start with get transformed, including a young boy who changes colour in the crowd.
“The action in the ad really pumps people up about the Waratahs and the blue skin symbolises the lifelong commitment many of supporters make.”
The ads debut on Channel Seven’s tennis coverage and Foxtel from Tuesday, 22 January and Monday 29 January respectively.
Sydney band ‘Bodyjar’ provide the soundtrack ‘Call to Arms’.
